My Intimate Poetry: Him.

Say you love me like I do. ― Tammy-Louise Wilkins

He engulfs my heart.
A figment of imagination
That has me infatuated.
He is yet to feel the warmth
That my soul could only dream to provide;
With the love only my dreams can deliver.
He is my secret pleasure,
My clandestine treasure.
He is oblivious to my desire.
In his presence, I remain silent.
I wish I could sing from the rooftops;
To tell him the pang of emotion that overcomes me.
But it is not time.
I must wait for the strings of fate
To wove together and to become one,
That day will be the day that my voice will be heard.
