My Intimate Poetry: Good Girl.

Hello lovely readers. I. Am. Exhausted. Enjoy!

When times are rough, never turn to becoming a cold heart. ~ Tammy-Louise Wilkins.
What she hated about him

Their first kiss told her all the pros
But he cunningly left out all the past & upcoming lows
Extracting all her common sense
Leaving her without her carefully crafted defense

What she hated about him

He toyed with her and stuck blinkers on
So she didn’t see her life fly by and realize he was a con
His plan was to drop her flat on her ass
As soon as “love” was mentioned, he couldn’t let it pass

What she hated about him

She had stars in her eyes and soared so high in the sky
Blissfully unaware of what was to come from her "sweet guy"
Little did she know what she was about to encounter
He was going to put her into a constant spiral of downers

What she hated about him

Insecurities is what he fed off, he was a player
He won all the games of heart and death, that was the underlining layer
Dammit she was left defenseless and in the dark
It took all her strength not to become a Cold Heart

That dark time has come and passed
Her heart beats in warmth, it’s glowing even
As she did not loathe or detest him any longer
For his twisted motives made her the strong woman she is today
