My Intimate Poetry: Find My Way.
Well hello there, lovely readers! Missed me? N'aw, I hope you have! A blog post full of gossip about my trip to Stratford-upon-Avon will be on it's way as soon as possible! Enjoy tonight's poem!
The gift of life is one thing, but letting that life go to find itself is a completely different and harder thing. ~ Tammy-Louise Wilkins.
A mother loves her daughter
With all her heart and soul
But never knows the right time
To let her baby go
They've been to hell and back
Through pain, agony and tears
All that mother is plagued with now
Are heightened maternal fears
Her daughter loves her unconditionally
She owes her mother her life and more
For if she wasn't there to help
She'd be equal to the less fortunate and poor
But a daughter must find herself
On her own and not be judged or dictated
Her mother must learn this heartbreaking, tough lesson
That if she tries to assert too much control, it leaves her daughter deflated
