My Intimate Poetry: White Christmas.

Hello lovely readers, I wanted to do something a little special before I clock off for a little bit and so, what better than a Christmas poem? Enjoy!

Irving Berlin knew what a real Christmas should be like. ~ Tammy-Louise Wilkins.

Christmas cheer is all around
Beauty within each sweet sound
Children laughing, adults smiling
Everything bewitching and everything beguiling

Streets graced by snow
Watch it glisten, watch it glow
Fragments of ice laced between
Crystal delights among its gleam

 Flickering lights awaken each home
With an enchanting scent of shortbread and honeycomb
Fingers covered in turkey stuffing, bacon, butter and more
As a feast is prepared consisting of fabulous food, succulent drink and loving laughter galore

Curling up with a blanket and a glass of wine in hand
Festivities calm down for a moment of nothing too grand
Warmth and love surround each tender soul
This is the time of year, each and every one of us feel whole

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, lovely readers! I will see you lovely lot soon. In the meantime, have a smashing holiday!

Tammy xo
