September Resolutions | Note to Self.

Hello lovely readers, can you believe we are already nearing the second day of October? I'm suffering the shock that I'm another year older!

Anyhow, at the beginning of last month (I weep at thinking of September as past tense) I wrote my annual September Resolutions. Now, like the year prior, I conducted a healthy exercise that I shared with all of you. It's time to share this year's public resolution; enjoy!

September Resolution #2 
Write a note of positivity about the upcoming day every morning.

Note: These notes unconsciously transformed into more than a positive sentiment but a person sentiment too. As everyday life affects your mind, your soul, and your body, your priorities and mentality alter. Looking back at these, I found it fascinating to witness my own musings that originated as scribblings on shards of paper– making perfect sense when placed in chronological order...

You can do it!
2nd
Be what you want to be, not what you're expected to be.
3rd
The burn will be worth it. 
4th
Your time is never wasted in a room of books.
5th
Do everything that makes you happy.
6th
Walk through the doors that you have opened.
7th
You CAN be productive at the weekend...
just remember to edit like Hemingway.
8th
Take everything in your stride.
9th
You're smarter than you realize.
10th
People arrive and depart unexpectedly. 
The sting of their departure will fade.
11th
The snide behaviour of others will be amusing.
12th
You will be ok.
13th
You ARE beautiful.
14th
Serenity lies within a good drive.
15th
Trust your instincts and you shall persevere.
16th
The result of impulsion is wonderful.
17th
Being veracious in vindicating those around you is not unethical.
18th
Have fun and the day shall soar.
19th
Weary eyes can be rejuvenated by a burst of light from another soul. 
20th
Your heart is not as cold as it seems after being hardened.

Your eccentricity is a worthy presence.

Happiness will come from the decisions you're hesitant to take.

Reaching out will bring surprise.

There is time for perseverance and there is time for restoration.
It's ok to require the latter.

Accept it.

Incidents occur.
They happen.
You will get through their impressions upon your mind.

The thoughts that creep into your mind  hold no power over you.

Strength may be elusive at times. 
But never doubt your possession of it.

Breathe.

You've made it another year.
