My Intimate Poetry: Clandestine’s Faults.

No more hiding. ― Tammy-Louise Wilkins.

You can’t decide
When to possess morality.
You can’t hide
Behind the cries of fidelity.

You can’t cease your seduction of me
You’ve already come this far.
How can your wandering eyes not see?
The venality you ooze.

You’re a prisoner in the cave;
Ignorant to the reality you’ve sewn.
To your senses, you’re a slave;
Accepting of your oblivious nature.

Your existence is a waste.
You’re too lazy to learn.
Yet, I somehow still craved a taste
Of your succulent witlessness.

You can’t decide
When to possess morality.
You can’t hide
Behind the evident inexperience.

You can’t decide
When to eat the slice you’ve taken.
You can’t hide
Behind the cake you’ve thoroughly prepared.

The power of clandestine will not conceal you forever.
